What I’m Looking At: Liam Mogan

March 5, 2012 § Leave a comment

Liam Mogan is inspired by what is on the internet (not much of a surprise) and has introduced us to a very cool ad based website. Please take a look below to see what he’s been looking at.
Last month I showed you guys one of the many sites I like to frequent for inspiration;  designspiration.net. That site is wicked for pure raw creativity taken out of context, which is great, but sometimes you want to see the whole message. This next sight, adsoftheworld.com, is more about how creativity is used in context; ie. advertising. I try not to visit this site too often because when I do, it seems like hours just fly by!
If you have a minute hour or two, go check it out.  I guarantee you’ll find something inspiring/funny/clever/etc.  But like always, please don’t hold me responsible for the time you my lose while browsing this.
Cheers,
Liam

Sandwiches & Beer. Goes together like Incense and Peppermint. This week’s contribution comes from Liam Mogan, a man who shoots enough food and beer to make him the natural host for upcoming Grasshopper meetings. All of us Grasshopper’s fondly remember the time he served that Guiness cheese. Boy oh boy. Well if you’re the kind of person who likes would prefer to look at a great meal rather than a frog or a raindrop you should consider downloading this bad boy. **NB Grasshopper accepts no responsibility for any weight gain that may accompany this photo.

Liam photographed The Grid’s Winter Beer issue. It consisted of a lot of ice, a lot of beers, and a lot of cold finger tips. Get your chill on! ..but make sure its somewhere warm, perhaps near a fire. Well done Liam!

Liam shares something with you that he very much wanted to keep to himself. Below he talks of his (no longer) secret love affair.

My art director friend turned me on to the very addictive website called Designspiration.  If you are into design or really anything visual, this site might very well blow your mind!

Check out the colour palate search engine, under ‘color’ at the top of the screen.  It is probably the coolest thing on the internet to date.

P.S.  Please don’t hold me accountable for the countless hours you’ll spend on this site.
